Tried this newish Indian restaurant recently and was highly impressed. It is a large and is well decorated and clean. Staff are courteous and appear well trained and service was prompt. I was really impressed by the food, it was gorgeous, some of the best Indian food I have ever had. All elements including the starter, rice, curry and nan were lovely and my friend was gushing about her meal as well. There is plenty of road parking outside and given that it is so large you would probably get away without booking. Will be going back soon. This brand new Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant is fantastic. The decor is very upper class looking, it felt like I'd walked into 5 star restaurant. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, and provide a great service. The food is very reasonably priced, I believe all the main dishes were under £10. The food was fantastic, one of the best Chicken Tikka Massala's I've ever had and the Onion Bajee's are out of this world. I didn't try a dessert so cannot comment on the dessert menu, but my starter and main course were amazing and the main courses came with complimentry bombay potatoes, and free food is always good. I enjoyed my experience here so much that i'm going to book a table here for my birthday meal. Submitted by Byrnejade | Very freindly staff, had the set meal for four people, nice crisp poppadoms with good dips to begin, (Lime pickle could be finer cut) special starter was a good mix of meats, maincourse arrived and was set on warming trays and was more than we could eat finished with coffee and mints (after eight). Inluding four pints of lager and a bottle of wine cost was a shade under £85 which was good value for a pleasant meal. Submitted by Tom H |
We have been visiting this restaurant regularly since it first opened several years ago and can honestly say we have thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The service is always excellent, the staff are friendly and the prices more than reasonable. We have also had several takeaways and the food is always delivered hot and on time. Well done Bengal Heritage keep up the good work! The best Indian in Darlington in my opinion. Submitted by Catwomen | Friendly staff, good food but most times i have been it has been quite quiet, good if you want nice food and quiet atmosphere. Submitted by Bradley W |

I'm a regular at this restaurant, where the food is always great whether it's a busy or a quiet evening. There is plenty of capacity for large groups and the restaurant is plushly furnished with two main seating areas allowing parties to be separate from smaller groups of diners. Price wise, expect to pay about £17 per head for starter, main course with rice and nan and a couple of drinks. My favourite is the Chiken Tikka Resala. The Chicken Tikka Balti is also great and includes a plain nan. Good deliveries too. Overall, it's great value and you won't be disappointed. Submitted by Touristanista | food amazing great value for money well worth a visit we've visited quite a few indians in darlington and found this to be the best we would'nt go anywhere else Submitted by Mandy T |
